We Specialize In Protecting Your Tesla

With paint and a finish that is well-documented in being softer and less durable than any other vehicle we've experienced, it's important that you protect your electric vehicle investment by investing in protecting the outside from the elements.

PAINT QUALITY IS ESPECIALLY IMPACTED IN COLDER CLIMATES

With class-action lawsuits currently taking place because of this issue, it has been well-documented that cold weather has been impacting these Tesla paint issues more than other climates. This was particularly present in Quebec, Canada because of the high presence of EV due to low electricity costs and EV incentives.

The issue isn't even regarding just the paint issue, but also that Tesla has been refusing to fix these issues that arise. It's evident and been made very clear that Tesla doesn't care much about this, and are more concerned about getting new buyers and pumping them out as quickly as they can make them.

Some of our customers have experienced this first hand. One client in particular told us that when they went to Tesla to complain about the paint defects, their response was in effect "Do you want to bring it back? Because we have plenty of people in line for this car." This sentiment greatly supports their desire not to have their customers pleased with the vehicle and company, but to just make as many as possible and get them into the hands of people who won't complain.

YOUR RECOMMENDED OPTIONS

FULL BODY PPF

Paint Protection Film, also known as PPF, clear bra, (or sometimes improperly referred to as 'wrap', though that's a very different service and is not protective on its own), is the best line of defense against the elements negatively impacting your Tesla.

This service is more expensive, but it is in fact the most protective. So if this service is within your budget, we highly recommend it. It will protect the entire body against the biggest wear & tear threats on the road like rock chips and scratches.

The great thing is that if you choose this option of full body PPF, you are able to choose between clear or stealth finish. Clear is exactly that: it keeps the exact color and gives it a glossy finish. The stealth changes the finish to a matte look and gives a different aesthetic and is very sleek looking. See the above photo on this page as a reference.

The stealth PPF will keep the existing color, but simply change it to a matte finish giving it an iced appearance. The stealth is only an option for full-body PPF so if you're interested in this type of finish, this is the service for you.

When choosing full body PPF, it is best practice in the industry to also recommend a ceramic coating on top, but it is not 100% necessary. It will help to make washes faster & easier, as well as provide an extra layer of protection to keep the PPF in tip top shape, often adding longevity to it's already impressive 10-year warranty.

Ceramic coating is also applied not only to where the PPF is, but also to all the glass, trim & wheel facings, so you're getting additional protection on those areas that the PPF is not applied.

FULL FRONT PPF WITH CERAMIC COATING

If full body PPF is not an option, whether it is budget or anything else, the next best option for you is to cover the full front of your Tesla with PPF. This includes the full front bumper, full hood, full front fenders, side view mirror covers & headlights. This is actually our most popular package.

This full front coverage gives you protection on the areas that are most prone to damage while on the roads. Plus, with the addition of a ceramic coating on the entire vehicle, including where the PPF is not installed, it will provide a durable layer of defense against the elements & the soft paint quality of your Tesla.

Keep in mind, that the ceramic coating is not fool-proof defense against larger debris that can cause chipping. So areas such as the rocker panels, lower doors, rear bumper may get rocks and other debris thrown at it which could cause damage to the soft paint beneath. If this is a concern to you, you can choose to add on PPF to those lower areas surrounding the vehicle as well. We are happy to provide you with a custom quote for adding these additional areas to protect your Tesla.

CERAMIC COATING ONLY

If you're on a bit more of a budget and are looking for overall increased protection for your Tesla, but are not interested in paint protection film, it's important that you get at least a ceramic coating applied. Though still not fully preventable against rock chips, it will provide increased protection against debris & damage by providing an extra clear coat that is extra durable. You can choose from two different coatings: 6 Year Coating or 10 Year Coating.

Ceramic coating has a very glossy finish and with that glossiness comes faster & easier washes. Additionally, it will provide protection against UV damage, acid rain & chemical damage from bird droppings & tree sap, among other things.

ADD-ON: CERAMIC WINDOW TINT BY SUNTEK

If you are interested in protecting the interior of your vehicle, including the passengers, then ceramic window tint by Suntek is a great option for you. Add this service on to any of the above protection packages, to keep your car cooler in the hotter months while providing passenger protection from harmful UV rays and creating privacy inside your vehicle.

THE QUALITY IS IN THE PREP WORK

To ensure a job well done that our customers will be thrilled with, most of the work that goes into protecting your Tesla happens before we even apply PPF or ceramic coating to it.

Since these services have quite a long life (10+ years), it is important that the paint beneath looks as great as possible before we perform those services.

For that reason, we first perform a proper hand wash, paint decontamination, clay bar and minimum of 1-step of paint correction. This correction is two-fold: First, it removes any surface imperfections like minor swirling or scratching, and second, it ensures a perfectly smooth surface for the ceramic nano-particles to chemically bond to, ensuring the longevity of the protective service.

We warn you against any installer trying to sell you a coating or PPF application without first taking the proper steps to prepare a great surface beneath. The truth is, we won't do this, even if specifically asked, because we take a lot of pride in the quality of work and the final outcome.

The reality is, a ceramic coating, given its especially glossy finish, will actually magnify any paint imperfections beneath it, so this step of paint correction & proper prep is vital to a beautiful outcome that you'll be proud of.

BONUS: WE DO AUTO BODY WORK

This below Tesla came to us brand new with paint already chipping on raised edges of the body.

Luckily for this client, we were able to repair the paint on site because we also do smaller auto body jobs here.
